WorldRemit and Xpress Money Announce Global Money Transfer Partnership

~New money transfer routes to open up across Africaand Asia~

London & Dubai, December 6, 2016: Digital money transfer service WorldRemit and global money transferbrand Xpress Money todayannounce a partnership to open up new remittance routes across Africa and Asia.

Through Xpress Money’s extensive agent partnernetwork, WorldRemit customers will be able to make secure, instant moneytransfers to be collected as cash. Initial countries in the rollout willinclude Algeria, Egypt, Ethiopia, Fiji, Lebanon, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Tonga.Over the next few months, customers will also be able to receive moneytransfers in their bank accounts, mobile wallets, etc.

With the WorldRemit app or website, customers sendmore than 500,000 transfers every month to more than 125 destinations.WorldRemit, known as the ‘WhatsApp of money’, makes sending a remittance aseasy as sending an instant message.

Xpress Money is one of the fastest growing instantmoney transfer companies, present in 160 countries through 180,000cash payout locations across the globe. It has regional offices in 25countries including UK, USA, Canada, Australia, Hong Kong, Philippines, UnitedArab Emirates and India, amongst others.
