This is a bit of a promotion, admittedly, but I did want to draw attention to a recently published report on a topic not well covered and deserving of more attention; business debit cards. As Ken Paterson, our Vice President of Research Operations and author of this report points out:
“Small business debit, credit, and charge cards are widely used payment products that help small businesses manage their spending and separate it from the business owner’s household accounts. This is a critical best practice for financial management. The leap to business cards, separate from the owner’s personal cards, is one which business owners may overlook and which debit issuers should address”
This report highlights primary data gather from a small business survey conducted recently and discusses how small business rely on a variety of payment methods to varying degrees. For more details, you can find the note, Small Business Debit: Hiding in Plain Sight, here.
