Mastercard’s new “Assemble” payment platform is available to issuers and partners alike via white-label or using Automated Programing Interfaces (API’s) for additional functionality and/or customization. Working completely from an app on a smartphone, users are able to perform the vast majority of banking needs, including checking balances, transactions, budgeting, and near real time payments using their Mastercard prepaid debit card.
“Assemble is a “prepaid innovation hub that issuers and partners will offer to customers with holistic money management capabilities,” Mastercard said in a statement Tuesday, Dec. 12.”
